Black Hawk City Hall Facade Restoration

The Black Hawk City Hall building is located in scenic Black Hawk Colorado. This small mining settlement city founded in 1859 is a result of the Pike’s Peak Gold Rush era. The City Hall building continues to serve as an active city center structure.

Our work included full lead based paint abatement meeting all EPA and state disposal guidelines, historic stone replacement and reconstruction, full parge coating removal from existing stone elevations, historic brick replacement and matching, structural mortar injection, stone carving and profiling including installation of new coping flashing’s along the parapet caps. Work also included 100% joint sealant replacement, 100% exterior masonry sealing, 100% brick and stone tuck-pointing and historic window restoration and coating application. This project was the recipient of the ICRI Rocky Mountain Chapter Project of the Year award. Our restoration work will add many years of service to this historic structure.
