The Rosebud County Courthouse is an operating historic courthouse located in Forsyth Montana. This historic structure was built in 1912.
The exterior of the courthouse is clad in sandstone, with the upper cupola and columns being constructed of concrete. Work included 100% exterior mortar replacement, stone replacement and repair and cleaning. The upper cupola concrete was removed and replaced with Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete including all columns, cornices and decorative elements. The main granite steps were replaced including all concrete supports below the steps. Entry granite and GFRC elements were also replaced. The structure also received new roofing, exterior lighting, restoration of the historic cast iron entry lamp posts and historic entry railings.
